KTM’s 1290 Super Adventure is the big daddy of its adventure-touring lineup, succeeded from the 1190 Adventure introduced back in 2013. The 1290 Super A came out as a kind of Austrian version of BMW’s R1200GS Adventure, with standard hard luggage (in the U.S. at least), a very large and wind-cheating fairing, and a massive 7.9-gallon fuel tank.
