Other than a simple hard disk swap on the HDR1000S after 4 yrs of at least 16hrs/day operation (cost about £60.00 for 2TB drive) it's been reliable. The later 1100S does seem to be less reliable. I've got the 1000S (about 2 years old) and it's never been great. Slow, unresponsive, crashing, freezing. not the best.
Anyone have the latest advice to help get me back on track? Happy to get update on USB if someone can point me to the right version. Here are my settings . Model- HDR-FOX T2 Software version - FHTCP 1.03.12 Loader version - a7.33 System ID 80BC.7E00 Update date - 7 Feb 2014 MICOM version - 9.3 MAC address - 08.EB 74 22 2C B7. Thanks. Jennifer
Here are a set of rules that apply to EPG update :- The Humax does not update the EPG when it wakes at 4:30am to look for OTAs; The Humax does not update the EPG in Standby; The Humax does not update the EPG while it is recording; The Humax does not update the EPG prior to recording in Padding Mode
Tried to download 12.4 from App Store. It would download about 1 G, and crash. as far as I know, no T2 model specific software update(s), just MacOS updates
High definition (HD) is definitely easier on the eyes. As compared to standard definition, HD gives you more vivid detail, finer gradations, truer colours, and more precise contrasts and contours. HUMAX EPG
