To get to either the mercenary or Vassal path with a kingdom, you need to level up your clan. You need to be Clan Level 1 to be hired as a mercenary. The same level is required to become a Vassal. The process is actually similar as well. You need to find the Nobles of a respective faction and swear fealty to them to join up with them.To become a Mercenary in Bannerlord: Speak to a Faction Lord. Select the “ There is something I’d like to discuss” option. Click the “ I would like to enter your service. ” selection. Select “ My sword is yours. For the right sum. ” Continue through the rest of the dialogue screens and accept the Twitch (LIVE RIGHT NOW): But late game is in Bannerlord not as good designed, so, I stop to play normally. Its just borring to siege enemies after your conquered 5 towns. And no advantage. and unfortunately no content for late game, just fight, fight and fight. The only downside of becoming a vassal is that when/if you ultimately leave and take your holdings with you
